Blobs

There are many different parts, many different components of what makes you you. Traits of your personality, your physical appearance,your likes, your dislike, your ideas, your fears, your passions. On their own, your eye color, your favorite food and the sound of your voice when you laugh are just small random details that may even seem insignificant, but when put together they make you, a unique individual. These traits, theses little pieces are like blobs of paint that an artist uses to create a beautiful picture. All of these messy blobs of paint are part of a big colorful picture. Each blob of paint on it’s own seems like just a blob and it is simply a blob of paint but it’s intentionally placed by the artist and necessary to create the chaotic masterpiece that is you.

Some people think that a fetus is just a lump of cells and to some extent they’re right. If you look at fetus up close it is made of cells but cells are just like blobs, they make up something bigger. Each cell like each blob is put in place intentionally to create something bigger. A fetus is just is a group of cells, yes, but those cells are just the first few blobs on the canvas, they are the beginnings of a beautiful, intentionally created masterpiece.

A fetus is a lump of cells yes but that lump of cells is more, it is a baby. It is the begging of a person. We all have to start somewhere after all. She is the result of a unique combination of instructions, half from her mom half form her dad; coming together and creating certain cells, each purposeful, each intentional that link together intentionally and purposefully and make more and more cells that keep linking and making more cells. Growing and growing and growing, adding more and more and more blobs of paint and creating something wonderful, beautiful, inspiring and intentional, just like you, just like me, a masterpiece.
